A 3-Day Journey into the Future of Literature Teaching – Join Us on August 6th!

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Live Transmission Workshop: Training and Integration in Teaching and Learning of Class Readers and Novellas, scheduled to begin on August 6th, 2025. This 3-day virtual event is designed to support teachers, librarians, and education stakeholders in revolutionizing how literature is taught and accessed in schools.

This workshop isn’t just about using technology—it’s about creating meaningful, engaging, and equitable literary experiences for students across Kenya and beyond. Here's what to expect each day:

đź“… Day 1 (August 6th): System Orientation & Onboarding
We’ll kick things off by walking participants through our digital learning platform. This is your chance to become fully familiar with the system you’ll be using throughout the year. From creating an account and registering for events, to subscribing to our newsletters and accessing livestream links—every detail will be covered.

This day ensures that every educator, no matter their digital skill level, starts the workshop with confidence and clarity. Whether you're joining from a school with advanced infrastructure or logging in from a remote area, our system is designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind.

đź’ˇ Day 2 (August 7th): Digital Transformation in Literature Education
On the second day, we shift the focus to a more interactive and reflective space. This is where participants ask questions, share experiences, and gain insights on how to embed digital tools into their literature teaching practices.

We’ll explore how class readers and novellas can be brought to life through online engagement, multimedia tools, and interactive storytelling. You'll hear inspiring examples of schools that have used digital platforms to bridge learning gaps and improve student interest in reading.

This day is all about shifting mindsets—from traditional to transformative. We’ll show you how technology can enhance—not replace—the human element of teaching.

âś… Day 3 (August 8th): Confirmation, Practice & Test Run
The final day will serve as both a wrap-up and a practical test. We’ll confirm participant understanding through guided practice and offer live links for a test event stream to simulate the real experience.

Participants will also receive tools to help them roll out literature events in their schools using the same system. It’s not just about knowing—it’s about doing. We'll also invite final feedback, open up for questions, and offer tips for integrating this knowledge into upcoming academic terms.
